BOOKING Bookings can be taken by post, telephone, email or in person. Off to Turkey Rentals will then send the client a booking confirmation. For late bookings provisional confirmation will be made as above, or by fax or email if available. It is the clients responsibility to ensure all due payments by bank transfer is made before departure. PAYMENT Payment can be made by bank transfer or Moneygram directly into Off to Turkey Rentals bank account. Bank details will be provided when required. All monies received and payments due for any of the services listed below will be set out on the confirmation invoice issued by Off to Turkey Rentals. It is the client's responsibility to ensure all payments are made on time as specified on the confirmation invoice. Failure to pay monies due by required date may result in cancellation of services and loss of any payments already received. ACCOMMODATION Deposit of 25% of the total accommodation and extras cost must be paid to Off to Turkey Rentals. The remaining 75% of the accommodation cost must be received by Off to Turkey Rentals at least 8 weeks prior to departure. For late bookings, full payment must be paid when booking and evidence of the bank transfer faxed to us in Turkey as confirmation of payment. CAR HIRE It is a condition of the terms of car hire that all drivers must have held a clean driving licence for 1 year and are over 23 years old. Special requests such as roof racks or child seats can be requested. For all bookings prior to departure a deposit will reserve the chosen vehicle and secure the price at time of booking, with the balance being due 10 weeks before departure. BOOKING CHANGES An administration charge of £25 (€30 ) per person or £25 (€30) per change will be levied (whichever is the greater) for any change to the booking details sent by Off to Turkey Rentals on the booking confirmation. Any change must be made in writing to Off to Turkey Rentals by the party leader nominated at the time of booking. CHANGES IN DATES OR ACCOMMODATION Every effort will be made to accommodate any changes by the client in dates or accommodation within the administration charge. However if changes cannot be made to the clients' satisfaction resulting in the confirmed accommodation not being occupied, cancellation procedures will be invoked. In the unlikely event that Off to Turkey Rentals has to change accommodation selected by the client after the accommodation has been confirmed, alternative accommodation of a similar or better standard will be offered, subject to additional costs being charged. Should accommodation of a similar or higher standard not be available, accommodation at a lower retail price will be offered along with a full refund of the price difference. If this is not acceptable the limit of our liability will be a full refund of the accommodation costs already paid. CANCELLATION All cancellations must be notified in writing by the party leader nominated on the booking form and written to in the initial Off to Turkey rentals invoice.
Clients must also be aware that for cancellation of individual party members i.e. reduction in party size, they may also be subject to a cancellation fee applied by the flight charter company.
Time between cancellation date and first day of holiday Charges as a percentage of holiday cost - From 56 days - Deposit forfeited + admin fees - 28 to 55 days - 50% - 15 to 27 days - 75% - 01 to 14 days - 100% CLIENT FEEDBACK Any comments made by clients of Off to Turkey Rentals are highly valued, - good or not so good. Off to Turkey Rentals appreciate any comments, in order that they can improve on areas of concern and learn from areas that are seen to be good. Any reasonable complaint will be dealt with fairly with an emphasis on understanding the clients' point of view. It is a prerequisite of any complaint requiring compensation that the complaint has first been made to the local agent as soon as it is apparent, and validated by production of a letter issued by the Off to Turkey Rentals overseas representative. Very often what may seem to be a serious problem can be resolved relatively easily when the complaint is visible and local knowledge can be used. If however the complaint is not resolved before the clients departure, a complaint must be made in writing within 7 days of return (date as postmark), outlining the difficulties experienced. No liability can be accepted where this procedure has not been followed. Off to Turkey Rentals undertake to acknowledge the complaint immediately upon receipt and to respond within 1 month unless extenuating circumstances prevail. The response will outline Off to Turkey Rentals' acceptance of liability along with a compensation offer if appropriate. In the event this is not acceptable it is the responsibility of the client to take the matter further, by arbitration of the courts. LIABILITIES The limit of "OFF TO TURKEY SELF CATERING HOLIDAY Rentals" liability, is the sum of the accommodation costs plus the cost of charges for any other service provided by Off TO TURKEY Self Catering Holiday Rentals. We cannot accept liability due to circumstances out of its control, amounting to 'force majeure'. This includes war or threat of war, industrial action, terrorist activities, riot, civil strife, weather, failure of power, gas or water supply, local noise etc. With the increase in demand for overseas property ownership in Turkey, some building work is inevitable. We will endeavour to identify any building work and mention it at the time of booking, however this situation can change without notice and is entirely out of the control of Off to Turkey Self Catering Holiday Rentals. The client is responsible for any damage or breakages caused to the accommodation by any member of the clients' party. The client has agreed to indemnify Off to Turkey Self Catering Holiday Rentals against any claims including legal costs made against us by or on behalf of any property owner. BREAKAGE DEPOSIT You may be asked for an accidental damage deposit of up to £ 200 (€250) to cover any damage to the property and fittings. This is payable with final payment. The deposit, subject to no damage, will be returned within two weeks of your return, subject to there being no outstanding claim. PASSPORT All EU citizens must have a valid EU passport for the complete duration of their holiday. Non EU citizens should consult the relevant consulate. Off to Turkey Self Catering Holiday Rentals or its associated companies cannot accept responsibility for failure to carry valid passports, visas, licenses or other necessary documentation. Please note that on entry to Turkey you will need to require a visa at £10 ( €15 )per passport. This will be paid before you enter passport controls in Turkey.
